Dutch Death/Thrash sickos Inquisitor are back with a new 3-song 7-inch vinyl titled I Am Sick, I Must Die, which works as a good teaser for the band's forthcoming second album, Stigmata Me, I'm in Misery, set to be released on Hammerheart Records in January 2018.

The new song, "I Am Sick, I Must Die" chops your head off right away with its violent outburst of both Death and Thrash Metal in the one and only Inquisitor style. Alex Wesdijk's hysteric and absolutely maniacal screams are there, and so are the rest of the combo's unforgiving attitude at sounding as badass and mean as possible.

The two covers that are also featured here cover Pestilence ("Extreme Unction") and Dark Angel ("Perish in Flames"), and both have been given the Inquisitor treatment. At first, I wasn't sure it was Pestilence's song because Inquisitor have modified the song's structure quite a bit to make it fit their style better. They truly managed to give it the needed Inquisitor punch. "Perish in Flames," on the other hand, was way easier to recognize, even without knowing the song title in advance. However, Inquisitor still somewhat retain their own hysteric, more straightforward style in covering this classic Dark Angel song and they have even done a very good job of staying true to the song's original arrangement but also adding their own little perverted twist into it.

I was pleased with what I heard on this 3-track effort from these bona fide Dutch Death/Thrash perverts. Now I just need to get my hands on their new full-length up next - somehow, sometime, somewhere...
