Isole are an epic doom metal band from Sweden that has been operating under the name of Forlorn since 1991, and eventually formed Isole to release their first full-length "Forevermore". A modern day doom metal classic is born here. No doubt about it.

Every single doom band on the planet could learn a thing or two from these guys, particularly when it comes to dual guitar attacks and harmonies; just brilliant stuff. And if you can crank out crushingly heavy and killer riffs like these guys do, the second guitar that does the leads over it just blows all competition out of the water. By "Epic Doom", one should not mistake Isole for Candlemass or Solitude Aeturnus clones. Far from it actually. Isole have their own sound, all the while pushing the boundaries of the genre. Tracks like "Age Of Darkness" or "Forevermore" are good examples of the genius that this band is.

A pleaser all around, and if you like doom metal, this album is fail-safe. Go get it…
