I've always been a huge fan of Tankard. Their combination of furious alcoholic thrash-attack and slapstick humor has always won them over with fans that follow their catchy hymns about what it's like to drink, why drinking kicks ass, and hangovers. Although the lyrical aspects of Tankard have really nothing to bring to the table (except humor, of course), or that this band is not exactly what you'd call revolutionary to Thrash (at least in this album), and the album has a couple mildly skip-button worthy tracks (these are really the only drawbacks). One a more positive note, the humor, the cool album art, the excellent riffs and solos, and the aggressive vocals are all present here (which is what Thrash is all about, am I wrong?)

First, the album kicks off with a recording of some guy chugging a beer (no doubt), followed by the destructive "Total Addiction" which opens with awesome riffing as sudden as having a bottle smashed in your face. The furious thrash-attack does not stop from there until we reach the sixth track, "For a Thousand Beers" which is perhaps one of the best instrumentals I've heard. It's very catchy and acts more as a breath of fresh air in this tiring album without it having to be elevator music.

Once that song is over, we now kick off to the title track which is in my opinion the strongest song on the album. It kicks off with groovy riffs, and then the vocalist proceeds to shout "STOP THE CHEMICAL INVASION!!!" Bad-ass, or what? The rest of the song continues on with the traditional Tankard arrangement of creative riffs, catchy drum beats and cool bass lines that add that extra "thump" to the music.

All in all, this album is not revolutionary or fantastic – It's just really damn cool, and a very fun listen. This is recommended to those who seek booze in the form of… Metal!
