Tribute to Apocalypse is the follow up to Infested Blood's debut album, Master of Grotesque. It pretty much follows the same path of fast and brutal technical Death Metal, although I found this one slightly more bearable.

Tribute to Apocalypse was given a rawer sound production and lasts just 27:45. The lead guitar is less tremolo-picked and more crushing in the riffing. The relentlessness is still present in the drumming, permanent with their usual snare drum abuse. On this release, the vocals are more extreme and wicked than before, which is a good point, especially noticeable with the growls. A few horror/gore samplings were thrown in to break the redundancy on tracks # 2 and 5, namely, "Walking Through Infernal Catacombs" and "Rotting Years". The latter is actually my overall favorite composition. Otherwise, things are pretty much the same and many tracks just sound alike. Again, for brutal and technical fanatics.
