7 Days have a surprisingly paltry offering wrapped up as album number two, and despite a plethora of guest stars this is a pretty naff release full of rehashed Evergrey and Ayreon riffs, sprinkled with some typical symphonic aspiration that makes you think of better, more agile bands. The production is a total mess, with the guitars being loud, slurping atrocities that mar the keys and drums, making them practically inaudible. The vocals are handled throughout this very long album by some named vocalists such as Thomas Vikstrom (Mehida, Candlemass, Therion), Christian Liljegren (Narnia, DivineFire, Golden Resurrection), and the rather splendid Caroline Sigfridsson, whose pretty croon is the highlight of tracks like "The Innocence In Me". Harmony/Darkwater guitarist Markus Sigfridsson is at the helm of Into Forever, and so it does generally follow the same pretentious path as both of those acts, but in essence, this is a protracted and fumbling album that Prog Metal fans might become irritated rather enamored with.
