The Tygers of Pan Tang strike again. 35+ years and still going strong. These guys aren't about aggressiveness, so if that's what you look for in your metal, you may want to check out some other band. Catchy, easy–listening melodic metal is probably the best way to describe them.

The late 70s/early 80s NWOBHM vibe is still running strong through their veins, as if weren't for the modern production, this could be an album released during that period. There's a high emphasize on the vocals here, and thankfully Jacopo Meille can deliver the goods, and then some. I think I had half the vocal melodies stuck in my head after the first couple of listens. This is the kind of stuff that makes you want to sing along – loud.

Musically there are no surprises either. The band stick to their proven formula: barebones Heavy Metal with a bit of a hard rock-ish vibe, catchy and uplifting (no one will ever, ever accuse this band of writing anything close to depressing). It's not particularly original, it's what the band has mostly been doing all along, and it'll get that foot tapping, the air guitar shredding, and unfortunately for those around you, probably some of your bad sing-along as well. ;) Looking forward to more albums from these guys.
