Zzzzzzz.... What? What? Oh yeah, they're very proficient musicians, nothing to say against that, but I just hate it when a band is pretty much showing off, and seems to forget than an album is more than that - you know some actual musical sense please? I listen to this album and it's pretty much the same stuff for 39 minutes, not one song really distinguishing itself from the rest. So essentially you're being hammered by a collection of guitars, bass and drums for 39 minutes. Ok, some people like that, and I have to admit that sometimes I'm in that mood too. But I like some variety and I just don't hear it here. And to think that Nile members worship Cryptopsy, I'm sorry, but it should be the other way around. Nile's material is much more interesting. It's nice to be geniuses at handling your musical instruments, but please, how about writing something that doesn't sound like a 39-minute song the next time?
