If I had to describe this compilation in just a few words, it would be "good, but uneventful". These guys first formed in 1989 and then got back together in 2014, their last release before 2017 being their only album, Deceased, in 1992.
Accidental Suicide play some decent doom-infused death metal that doesn't "wow", but is nonetheless quite listenable. I like how they seamlessly switch between melodic, rock-ish and almost soothing parts and more raw, mid to fast-paced death metal within the same song sometimes. Not all bands manage to alternate like this and make it work, but these guys do.
I've found that this is an album that works well when you want some good background music. As I said earlier, it's good but uneventful. There's nothing bad here, but there's nothing particularly attention-catching either. Sometimes that's what you need coming out of your speakers.
