While this bears the same name as Ossuary Insane's only full-length album released way back in 1998, this one here is a vinyl compilation. Not confusing at all. Anyway... I found the Decimation of the Flesh compilation quite to my liking, but Demonize the Flesh sounds much more coherent, more like an actual full-length album (still under 30 minutes though) and the material here is much more refined, less chaotic and messy than on the aforementioned compilation. Don't take the "less chaotic and messy" as any kind of weakness, however, as Demonize the Flesh trades that for a dark, crushing and somewhat evil-sounding atmosphere that I find is much more appealing. You get a good balance between speedy numbers and much slower, but heavy passages, making for a much more interesting listen overall. If you have to pick between these two compilations, this is the one to get, though both serve their purpose.
