Second full-length by these Swedish maniacs, The Search relies on space things, ridiculously fast riffs and a huge ode to the 80s. This is basically what you'd get when mixing the sci-fi songwriting of Scanner's Hypertrace/Terminal Earth era with the classic Speed vibe of bands like Savage Grace and Agent Steel, all while adding some furious bits in the vein of Cyclone and a modern approach of the genre, like Enforcer and Ranger do so well. Expect terminal velocity, a lot of cosmic shit and awesome tunes, as The Search is easily one of the most fun Speed Metal albums of the year. Brace yourself for "Heavy Metal Impact"!
