Flageladör is a Brazilian speed/thrash band that's been around for close to 10 years and with the release of Predileção pelo Macabro now has four full-length albums to its credit. The riffs are in the style of early '80s thrash with more melodic Priest/Maiden leadwork while the vocals are a gritty bellow that sounds like singer Armando Exekutor studied voice with Venom's Cronos. The songs on Predileção pelo Macabro are decent but purely derivative with the only unique feature (Armando shouting "seis seis seis!" before the main riff starts) also being the most annoying because it happens on no less than three of the 10 songs. I've heard worse but that doesn't make Predileção pelo Macabro anything more than serviceable.
