Before the first song of this album was over, I knew that at least one person from Nightbringer was involved in its creation. I didn't even have to look. Turns out it is three current and former members of Nightbringer gathered together to produce an album that sounds exactly like you would expect. This is epic, dark, ambitious, and cold-sounding Black Metal with a lot of melody and layers to it. If you know what Nightbringer sound like, then you will not be surprised by anything here, as this sounds pretty much exactly like that band. If you want big, expressive Black Metal with a lot of atmosphere, then check this out. |
