This is a disc you can rely on. Grafvitnir have been putting out albums since 2012, and they remain the same dependable Swedish band they have always been. Definitely in a vein with other Swedish bands like Naglfar and Setherial, they play fast, aggressive Black Metal with a modern gloss to the production, a decent guitar sound, and a lot of speed. There's nothing here you have not heard a thousand times, but they keep the pedal to the metal and tear it up, and sometimes that's good enough. |
