Elvenking are back with their unique brand of power metal mixed with some folk moments with Reader of the Runes - Divination, which seems to me that'll be a part of a history to come in future albums. Though this didn't blow me away, it's a small step-up compared to their previous record, and is extremely enjoyable and easy to digest, even if it's also complex in its own way.

The Italians seem to have achieved their optimal sound and songwriting, and are definitely at ease with their consolidated identity since The Pagan Manifesto (2014), which I think it's their best work to date. This is immediately attractive, charming, competent and immensely fun to listen to, and I can't help but think that Elvenking are starting their best years as a band and will continue to grow if they manage to keep up this pace. Highly recommended.
