I didn't know a bullet train would hit this hard. Saccage ("havoc") hail from Montreal and, unlike so many bands in Quebec that tend to play death or black metal, have opted for a black/thrash/crust hybrid that takes great pleasure in wiping the floor with your sorry ass, and making you love it.
I'm not too familiar with their earlier works (that will change soon), but Khaos Mortem is 29 minutes of pure savage rage. Crazy fast, all over the place, heavy as fuck and, well, downright crushing is what this is. There's really no other way to put it. They sing in French, but forget about the language of love/romance/whatever; the style here is harsh as fuck and spits out the hate like there's no tomorrow. Awesome. Raw to the bone and destroying everything in their path. It's Saccage, ladies and gentlemen. Definitely check these guys out if you're into the genre or simply feel like getting your ass kicked to hell and back.
