This is the third album of Death/Black mayhem from this Italian band I never heard of. Gôr Mörgûl play a fast, chaotic breed of extreme metal with slashing riffs and really propulsive, pounding drum work to drive things onward. The band has a fat, kinetic recording job to cover up for what is essentially pretty standard songwriting. Don't get me wrong, if you are into stuff like Belphegor or Behemoth, then this is an album that will hit the spot, but it's not doing anything extraordinary. Aggressive, feral, and solid.
