I've been doing this for almost 24 years and every year I hear a lot of albums in most metal genres, from excellent to just bad. This is the latter. The vocals are annoying, the covers are bad, the music is boring. I gave this a few listens and I had this nagging feeling that this reminded me of something and then it hit me: "This is like a bad night at a karaoke bar." I think I may have PTSD from listening to this. OK, there are the occasional good moments where this doesn't sound bad, but they're too few and far between, definitely not enough to recommend this. I guess I could recommend it to my enemies, but I'm pretty sure that contravenes some international convention. Next! |
