Exclamation Po!nt (yes, the "!" is intentional) is the third album from Poland's Armagh and is essentially a direct continuation from 2022's Serpent Storm. So, if you enjoyed the DIY, NWOBHM-inspired qualities of Serpent Storm (echoey vocals, simple, straightforward songwriting, a weak production), it is hard to imagine you finding fault with Exclamation Po!nt. In addition to Armagh's sound remaining constant, the same goes for the songwriting, which is heavily '80s-inspired and not particularly memorable but fun enough while on. There's a lot of traditional metal to choose from these days and Armagh doesn't do a whole lot to stand out from the crowd but, on the other hand, you can do a lot worse, so grab a copy if '80s metal is your thing.
