This is cold and raw Scandinavian-style black/death metal with lots of blasting and just spewing hate and destruction throughout. At times I'm reminded of later Marduk, enough to think of the last 2-3 albums by the Swedish black metallers. The music here is mostly harsh, fast and violent, though there are some surprising more melodic moments that catch me off guard every time—they're few and far between, but noticeable. Anyone who has been into black/death long enough has heard something similar, but it's well executed, with an in-your-face delivery. A bit on the short side, but it's the quality that counts.
