This is some cool thrash out of L.A. with some relation to the long-defunct band Holy Terror (see the interview on this site). It’s a mix of old-school and more modern thrash and it’s overall on the melodic, catchy side of the spectrum. Sometimes the music leans more into heavy/speed metal territory, and sometimes it’s everything blended together. The raucous vocals are a good match for this melodic thrash, kind of aggressive but accessible enough. There are a couple of times where the vocalist sounds like he’s doing a Lemmy impersonation, and that’s impossible to miss. It’s speedy, it’s "clean thrash," and there are a few songs here that are instant ear worms. If you’re looking for some well-executed "light" thrash, V is bound to fit that bill.
