You can tell this is an underground band by design, because they have as many compilations as they do full-length albums, of which this is only their second. This is a Chilean band who are deeply rooted in the classic '80s sounds, with obvious influence from bands like Riot, Metal Inquisitor, or Wolf. This is decently played and produced, but the real high point of this is the catchy songwriting and the unbridled enthusiasm the band brings to their music. Sometimes they do get carried away and lose the thread of what they were doing, but it all has so much exuberance it's hard to fault them. Some albums sound like they were put together in a studio like a science project, but this one lives and breathes with attitude and energy. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
