This band has been going for better than 20 years, with an eternally shifting lineup, but always playing the same '90s-era Black Metal they started with. I think this is well made and well played, but it does not really have anything to make it stand out from the horde of other Black Metal bands. The guitar sound is a bit soft and smooth for my taste, the vocals are rather faceless, and the riffs are all highly derivative. If you like this kind of thing, then this band is doing a perfectly good job of delivering it, but it's just not first-rate. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
