MassattacK is a heavy metal band that was mostly active in the '80s and the stuff here never saw a proper release. Their brand of heavy metal (which they called, "mad metal") is pretty straightforward and barebones and, as the album title implies, it's demo stuff. With that said, this is overall pretty cool stuff. Very catchy for the most part, melodic but not syrupy, and about as far as it gets from the then-incoming glam wave as it gets. It sounds like the times, so kind of a late '70s and early '80s influence with a strong heavy rock and punk vibe with all the craziness that comes with the territory. It's different from the retro-revival stuff coming out these days, so if you're looking for the real deal and also something obscure, then this will do the trick.
