Here we have an album that isn't bad, but has no especial reason to exist. Bloodthorn sound like a bazillion other Death/Black hybrids in that they sound just like Belphegor or Behemoth, only not as good. This is nowhere near as dull as anything by The Legion, but it still has nothing really to recommend it. Blast blast blast, grunt scream grunt, repeat. This is fine for background music, but there is just no substance to it at all. Look at that tracklist – did they miss a single cliché? I won't say this sucks, but I will say there are better ways to spend your money.
