Now this is the shit. Facebreaker are a relatively new band, and this is only their second album of furious, face-ripping Death/Thrash. With so many bands going through the motions and producing faceless, interchangeable crap, here we have a band that reminds me that it is still possible to do it right. I mean, how hard can it really be? Take a killer, grinding guitar sound, churn out some chunky riffs, and go nuts. Apparently it is hard, but Facebreaker manage to do it right anyway. Murderous tone, ass-kicking riffery, guttural roaring vocals. Not breaking any molds, not innovating anything, Facebreaker just throw you down and stomp on your head. Straight-up, in-your-face thrashing Death Metal.
