This is a classy package, and often lauded as one of Marduk's finest recordings, but really, this second live album is simply too much. At two discs and almost eighty minutes, this is too long by a lot. Of all their live discs I think Warschau is the best one. The performances here are spot on, and the band is always tight, but this lacks the concentrated energy of Warschau, and just goes on way too long. Some classics of Marduk's early works are included, like "Those of the Unlight", and "Dreams Of Blood And Iron", but after the first forty minutes it all just starts to run together, and even excellent sound and frenzied playing cannot keep that from happening. I think Marduk are a cool band, but even their best songs sound a lot alike, and they are best taken in doses of thirty minutes or less. If you love Marduk, then you either have this already, or you should. If you don't know this band, then I really don't think this is a place to start.
