This is the third album for this largely one-man operation from Sweden. Flesh play very standard, old-school Death Metal that actually reminds me of South American acts like Krisiun more than Dismember. There are some good riffs on here, and the material is headbangable, but I can't say there is anything you have not heard 1,000 before, because there isn't. I do have to dock Flesh a bit in the lyrical department. Leaving aside the pedestrian silliness of "I Masturbate To Jesus Christ", really look at the title of track 8. "My Penis Will Be Your Opera". I mean, just deal with that title for a minute, what does that even mean? It simply does not parse in any acceptable way. Imagine trying to scare people by smearing on the corpsepaint and growling "My Penis Will Be Your Opera" — it is just ridiculous any way you try to squint at it.
