L.O.N. , the force behind Hellveto, must never sleep, as he has produced thirteen albums in the last eight years. I always enjoy a trip through Hellveto country, and this disc does not change that. The great thing about this band is that every disc is different, but never so much so that it strays far from the band's roots. Some albums are more industrial, like Neoheresy, while others are harsher and more Black Metal, like Zmierzch or In the Glory of Heroes. Kry fits neatly in the more epic side of the fence, with big sweeping riffs and an expansive, moody atmosphere. Vocals are harsh but mixed low into a kind of omnipresent rumble, while the melodic, tolling riffs carry the weight of the songs. This one is short, but it presents a unified feel and emotional arc.
