This is a demo put out by Turkich band Baht in the wake of their tepidly received debut EP. This only has two songs on it, and so is a pretty short sample, but it does show Baht moving in a good direction. Their debut was more progressive and melodic, while the two songs here are generally more straight Death Metal with some good, heavy riffs and more aggressive drumming. They do still try to break things up with some slower interludes, but they mix in some sounds of people talking with heavy filters on, and it sounds stupid and distracting. When this band just pummels out the Death riffs, they sound pretty spot on. They obviously want to do something more progressive and experimental, but have not quite got down how to incorporate that into their Death Metal attack. This is an interesting, but minor effort from a band that might be worth watching for.
