This is a one-man Viking/Black Metal act from Norway. It has a surprisingly good production and the guitars are quite heavy, and the playing is all good and tight. This has nothing of a 'bedroom' recorded sound to it. Vocals are a mix of harsh and clean, and both are done competently. I like this, but it is pretty generic, there being nothing about the band's sound that really stands out. So this demo is certainly not pushing any boundaries, but it is heavy, sharp, and viscerally engaging. Feigd doesn't do anything new, but it does it very well.
