This is an album of Death Metal you have heard before if you have ever heard any Swedish Death Metal: Dismember, Paganizer, Fleshcrawl, etc. This is not bad, in fact the production is heavy as fuck and the songwriting is nicely barbaric and pummeling, but if you are a Death Metal fan, you have heard this all before. But then if you are a DM fan, then you are the intended audience for this album. Stagnation of Christ is a predictable but vicious and energetic album of euro Death Metal.
