You just have to love a MP3 promo that skips. I own 30-year old vinyl that plays better. A little note to labels: check the songs you encoded before spreading your promos...

That aside, Satanic Royalty is some very cool, catchy Black/Thrash with a bit of a Venom-meets-Motörhead punk/rock/Thrash vibe that pretty much makes this, well, rock. Let's just say I was expecting something less uplifting from an album named Satanic Royalty – not that I'm complaining, mind you. This sounds very old school, not unlike early Venom but with a heavier, more rock-ish sound (that's where the Motörhead vibe chimes in.) The vocals remind me a lot of Cronos' – clean but harsh, and just rocking along with the music.

This is pretty straightforward. If you like raw and dirty, unpolished Black/Thrash with an insanely catchy punk/rock vibe sounds like your thing, the Satanic Royalty is definitely worth checking out.
