This is a three-song demo by an Aussie band that is just starting out. The overall approach here is a melodic Black Metal style, with a lot of blasts and plenty of aggression backed up by the omnipresent melodic riffing. This is very second-wave in sound and feel, but with a modern gloss to the recording that makes me think of Swedish or Finnish BM. This is a strong debut that bodes well for the band's future. |
