This is the debut release from Argentinean extreme metallers FinDuMonde. Their style is an amalgamation of black and death metal, with a massive dose of modernisms both in the guitars and in the breakdowns they utilize across some of the tracks on Licantropia. There isn't much I have to say about FinDuMonde. Imagine if Fear Factory were trying to play black/death metal and bingo – that's what they sound like. Most the readers here at The Metal Crypt aren't likely going to find a lot of enjoyment, and even by the band's chosen style Licantropia isn't exactly amazing. Fans of bands such as Divine Heresy will no doubt find something of merit here though. |
