Godslayer is a two-song EP (what we called a "single" when I was a kid) from Chicago's Thrash trio, Lair of the Minotaur. I'm not sure I see the point to either song on here. Sure, both feature crushing riffs, a huge bottom-end sound and harsh vocals, but everything is sort of jumbled together giving the songs a muddy, confused sound that is dangerously close to Stoner. There's nothing very memorable about either track. I'd always heard how awesome this band was but Godslayer, decent though it is, makes me think that ship has sailed.
