Thhraasshhh!!! Spanish thrashers Exodia are on the loose again. It's time for the band's second album, titled Hellbringer, to introduce 10 new Thrash Metal torpedoes that are right on target.
Exodia have the required energy, aggression, dedication and talent to make great sounding Thrash Metal records. The recipe sounds simple, but that's how it is. A band has to know precisely what they want in order to achieve pleasing and rewarding results when creating music. In my humble opinion, the Exodia camp has realized and embraced this philosophy and with all that determination they KICK ASS. They display the same unrelenting yet controlled aggression and energy found on iconic Thrash Metal albums like Eternal Nightmare or Reign in Blood, but with a more punk or hardcore vibe (S.O.D.'s Speak English or Die, anyone?). It's like these Spanish Thrash-hungry fellows are out to smash some skulls with their uncompromising Thrash Metal attack and no one should feel safe. They will come and catch us all, one by one. The song "150% Attitude" sums up what this band is truly all about.
Hellbringer leaves a thoroughly positive echo and nothing can beat well executed, honest and mercilessly pummeling Thrash Metal. If you disagree even slightly, you are dead in my eyes.
