Edge of the Knife may be short, but it packs more punch than many full-length Thrash albums out there. There's nothing particularly original here, but it's a lot of fun. It's heavy, fast-paced with some razor-sharp riffs that make you reach for your air guitar – when you're not busy thrashing around. The vocals are harsh rasps that are decipherable enough, yet without losing anything on the aggressiveness scale. I've been listening to to this for a while and it doesn't get old – sometimes you just need something to kick your ass, and Edge of the Knife does just that.
