Ooooh yeaaaah. That's the stuff. This album is short and sweet and hits just the right spot when you're having a bad day. Fast, attitude-filled blackened thrash describes most of the album, but Ravencult don't fall into the monotone trap and serve us with a few slower, albeit crushingly heavy moments that balance things very well. Tortured harsh vocals bring in just the right amount of seasoning to this delicious thrash fest. Straightforward, catchy, fast, heavy and sometimes brutal. Sometimes that's all you need. |
