First Crime is the debut EP from Chile's Crime, a duo of musicians playing Black/Thrash that is more at the thrashy, Venom end of the spectrum. The riffs are buzzy but melodic and support gritty, growly vocals that are actually pretty clear. Musically, this varies little from what Venom was doing on Welcome to Hell and Black Metal but it's played well and has plenty of aggression. I like the incidental music from the film The Warriors that opens "Give Your Life to the Ruin" but otherwise you've heard this stuff before. If Black/Thrash is your cup of tea, you can do worse than pick up First Crime.
