This band no longer exists and this album was recorded in 1999 but not released until 2016. These Swedes play some good doom metal with an old-school vibe that reminds me of Count Raven, which in turn reminds me of 70s Black Sabbath. Slow and heavy but not overdoing it, it's the raw guitar work and "simple" (for lack of a better word) instrumental approach that are the main draw here though the vocals – a mix of Ozzy and Messiah Marcolin – must be mentioned. A clean style, just melodic enough but with the obligatory doomy vibe. It's too bad that the band split up, but if you like your 70s-style and back to the roots, then Trinity is a good treat.
