This is the second EP from Greek band Cult of Eibon, who play a rather clean and riffy style of Black Metal. It's a bit thrashy, a bit crunchy, and a bit repetitious. Some of the riffs are pretty good, but the songs are rather flat, so they don't do a lot besides repeat. This has a surprisingly clean production for Black Metal, without a really good guitar sound or a lot of atmosphere. It chugs and flails along, but it is really pretty bland. |
