Whoa. I'm rarely surprised these days, but this demo is a serious case of in-your-face that had me hooked from the first few seconds. Fast, relentless death/thrash is what's offered here and let me tell you, these guys have just set the bar high for anything they might release in the future. This is a genre that's been polluted by a lot of sorry wannabes, so it's great to see a new band do it right and take no prisoners. It's straightforward, ferocious and it's just over too quickly. The last song is a cover of Kreator's "Tormentor" and not only does it sound great, but it literally wipes the floor with your sorry ass. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some walls to patch. |
