Chaotic blackened blasting death metal from this Oregon band, who are really rocking that bullet belts and naked chicks vibe like Belphegor in the old days. There's nothing outstanding about this either in a good or a bad way – looking at the cover art, this is exactly what you expect when you see that, though this is better produced than I would have anticipated. You get flailing riffs, roaring vocals, and a lot of frenetic energy. The riffs and songs are very standard, and Weregoat do absolutely nothing surprising on here, but this is what they are trying to do and they do it well enough. |
