Voice is a German melodic Power Metal band that put out a handful of albums between 1996 and 2003 but then went dormant for 14 years. In 2017, the band released The Storm, their fifth full-length via Massacre Records. Smooth melodies, catchy choruses and a keen ear for pop-friendly hooks are what listeners can expect on The Storm, and to me it is like listening to a Masterplan album. Everything is crystal-clear, glossy and completely unimaginative. I don't hate it when it is on but there is nothing driving me to go back to it. |
