I've never been much of a fan of Morbid Angel, though I love their early work. They've been in a downward spiral for nearly two decades now and this new album shows no sign of that trend stopping. It's bland, generic and barely by-the-numbers. This is just boring. Maybe it's time to hang it up? Death metal is done better by known and not-so-known bands these days, so unless you're an unconditional, you can safely steer clear of this album.
