Thankfully this album is closer to Hidden Intent's Addicted to Thrash EP than to Apocalypse Now, which I found rather lacklustre. Not a lot to say about this one as it is pretty standard thrash. It's not great, but it's certainly not bad either. At times the vocal style reminds me a lot of mid to late-80s Anthrax. Musically it's pretty "clean" as far as thrash goes, often flirting more with good old plain heavy metal. It has its good moments that will get the foot taping but there's nothing here to really wow the listener. Walking Through Hell is good while it's on but doesn't leave much to remember once it's over, but sometimes that's good enough. |
