Whenever I get a Hells Headbangers Records promo, I hope it's going to be an album like this: Not necessarily original, but kicking my ass left, front and centre and leaving me with walls to patch. Unholy Destruction is pure adrenaline, mixing fast black, thrash, punk with a bit of an early 80s speed vibe bringing everything together. The vocals are more on the extreme thrash meets black rasp variety, which will unfortunately be a turn off for those who might otherwise enjoy Hammr's music, but honestly this is the right vocal style to use here. Lots of fun, lots of thrashing and old school as hell. |
