It's not uncommon to see split releases with two unmatched bands, but this is not one of them. Deiphago and Ampütator both play very raw, insanely fast and chaotic black metal and, in the past, I've commented on how both were like being run over by a train. This split 12" showcases three songs from an early demo by Deiphago and two previously unreleased tracks by Ampütator, though I must say that it's hard to distinguish between the two. That's just how similar these bands are in their unholy messiness. Insane screamed vocals, music so messy you wonder whether they're just banging away drunk until you pay very close attention; that's your 15 minutes of hell right here. If you like your black metal artsy, clean and melodic, run away now. This is the opposite.
