This is an ambitious album of highly technical, chaotic Black/Death Metal that is sometimes so amped up and intense that you kind of wish it would chill out. One-man metal machine Sahil Makhija bills himself as "The Demonstealer" and yes, he runs Demonstealer Records out of Mumbai, which seems to mostly specialize in Indian releases of established acts, but also puts out his solo albums as Demonstealer, of which there have been three in the last decade.

The music here is highly proficient, with a lot of technical soloing and intense drum work and mega time changes. The production is excellent, and all the performances are really first-rate. In places the riffs and leads are really outstanding, but the songwriting is far too disjointed and chaotic to allow the songs any room to breathe and develop as distinct songs. The approach has an overloaded effect, with so many styles and moods and sounds coming at you that it becomes a mishmash. I admire the energy and dedication at work here, but this guy really needs somebody there to tell him when enough it too much.
