I'm loving this. This Australian band (there are actually two with the same name from Australia) knows how to play dark, haunting, demonic black metal. The vocals are out of this world and seriously make this sound incredibly hellish, a wonderfully pleasing torture for the ear. The music is quite fast paced for the most part but the atmosphere is as crushing as if this were some slow and atmospheric blackened doom. Quite a feat. The sounds that come out of there are all about as dark and malevolent as it gets, making this a good candidate for a soundtrack for pure evil. |
